If you've got Monday off, how are you spending it, and with whom?

Well... Emily & I had breakfast, and then she took me on one of her patented long walks. She led me to the CVS all the way down in Babylon, and then it was off to the playground on Trolley Line Road. After that, we walked over to the Babylon train station, where we hopped in a cab for home. I traded road stories with the cab driver, since I've been doing a lot of driving on the weekends when my mother comes over (as she has the car). Anyway, Em & I had some more food and took another walk to the local stores, whereafter her mother and mother's bf picked her up. My mother made her way over as well, and it was off to Big Lots with me at the wheel. Man, I remember when that place was Pergament, but that was a long time ago. So, we're at Big Lots and I pick out all this stuff that I don't need and end up putting back, except for a $3 DVD of Heavy Traffic, which of course I *do* "need" since I have Brian's copy of Fritz the Cat and this is next in line. Bla bla bla, I'm back home and Steve Price alerts me to The Comics Journal's Exclusive Guide to MoCCA 2008 which states that I'm debuting Autism Autumn at MoCCA this year. Problem is I've tried to do this comic book for 2 1/2 years now and I can't even force myself to draw it. I even thought of dividing it into two parts; the first half would premiere at MoCCA and the other at SPX. I was at work recently and came up with an idea for a new teen comic (you know... Elizabeth, Diversity, and Schizandra), so I went home and vomited ideas all over an 8 1/2" x 14" sheet of paper. There hasn't been what I call a "Teenage Girls in Mild Peril" comic since Free Summer Franks II (which was five years ago), and Summer of Nove seemed to sum up things quite nicely (if I do type so myself), so there probably never will be an Autism Autumn, unless of course a LOT of people show up at MoCCA pissed off at me, in which case I'll do it for SPX, which of course I won't, because I'll keep putting it off until I get a different idea. Whew.
